Immigration Canada will be revoking/denying working visas for people who are or who they believe will be working as exotic dancers or in the sex industry.

Under new legislation, ”all existing temporary work visas to foreign-born strippers will be cancelled, all new applications will be denied and all “open” work visa holders will be barred from working in the adult entertainment industry.”

The legislation may lead to massive deportations of people who have lived in Canada for many years and/or drive women to underground work, where working conditions could potentially be awful and dangerous.
